4 Best Fastest USB 3.0/3.1 Flash Drive 2019

Last week, my 3-in-1 USB 3.0 flash drive stopped working, I only used it for less than a year. I decided to give up the multi-port USB flash drive even it seems to provide more possibilities, because my Android phone with 256GB storage capacity is enough for me to store photos and files, and it’s more efficient to transport files between my phone and computer via wireless transmission or synchronization.

If you need to copy large files frequently, high-speed is another very important factor besides premium quality, so I searched and compared all high-speed USB 3.0 flash drives on Amazon, and listed few reliable choices as below just for reference.

PS: Highly recommend well-known branded products. The lifetime is very difficult to guarantee if you choose those unknow-brand products with low price and poor quality of the chipset and workmanship, even though they may have a cool design and perfect product images/description.

Besides, the security and supporting software of USB disk are also very important, especially for your important data, which is more precious than the product itself.

I just found this out myself but USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 are the same thing. They’re both 5 gbps and was simply just renamed from 3.0 to 3.1 Gen 1. So technically 3.1 Gen 1 aren’t backwards compatible to 3.0 because they are 3.0. AND NOW USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 (10 gbps) has been renamed again to USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 is USB 3.2 Gen 2 and the new 20 gbps will be called USB 3.2 Gen 2×2. Doesn’t make any sense.
